The proposed development will consist of high quality spaces and buildings that are sympathetic to the local vernacular and capture the special character of Arborfield and the local area. The proposed units will be of traditional scale and mass, predominantly two storey with carefully considered materials appropriate to the local setting. These artist’s impressions show how green corridors will be fronted by well-defined built frontage to create meaningful spaces. The transition to the setting of Arborfield Court and the Area of Special Character will be defined by a lower density informal semi-rural character with natural green spaces.
